What are your standard payment terms? I usually ask for 50% deposit and all monies are due and payable one week prior to event. However, if you chose to pay on remaining balance you may do so and a receipt of payment(s) will be provided..
What is your customer satisfication cancellation policy? I will do my utmost to satisfy the client and do what I can to make client satisfied; however, the cancellation stands as above. .
What is your event cancellation policy? If you cancel I keep the deposit and any monies paid to date; however, if you want to reschedule a date and its available deposit and all funds paid to me will be carried over. If you cancel and wish not to reschedule, deposit and all paid monies will NOT be refunded. If I cancel for any reason, deposit and all paid monies will be refunded to you..
How many months in advance do I need to reserve your services for my wedding date? As soon as possible..... This will ensure ample time to plan; therefore ensure less stress and anxiety and prevent mishaps..
What makes you different from other local coordinators? Why should someone hire you? I guess what makes me different is my own person style/touch and committment to see that the event is a success. Thus, I have been thoroughly trained and belong to a number of associations which entitles me to a large number of resources, as well as contacts..
Do you charge hourly, a flat rate or a percentage of my overall budget? I charge a flat fee, and in addition I have "A La Carte" services if needed..
Can you assist with travel plans for out of town guests? Our honeymoon plans? I can assist clients with whatever they need assistance with; even planning for out of town guest, honeymoon, seating charts, guest list, etc....
Do you charge for an initial meeting? If so, is this amount credited should we hire you? The initial consultation is free..
How many hours are you on site the day of the wedding/event? That again depends on the package chosen; however, I'm pretty much on hand all day. But, actually on site anywhere from 4 to 6 hours..
When developing our wedding/event budget, how do you personalize this experience to our needs? I sit down with the client and I have a form or I write down thier desires,wishes and must haves. I try to get to know the clients personality, likes, dislikes, and exactly what they are looking for or want. .
Are you present at all vendor meetings? Do you pay the vendor fees and we pay you one lump sum? Depends on what package is chosen or if I am requested "A La Carte." I do not pay the vendors clients are responsible for making any and all payments to vendors; however, if I am needed to deliver and/or oversee payment that is doable. My fee is strictly my fee..
What is the largest wedding or event you’ve managed? The largest wedding I've handle has been 400 guests. I was involved in all the planning; which was done in four (4) months..
What if you become ill or cannot come to the wedding? Who will stand in for you? That's the good thing about being in the association, if an emergency arise I will have one of the capable members be in charge..
Do you employ other people to help you plan events? How much extra for additional staff? I have other members of the associations that assist as needed, and I do employ assistants to assist with the days ceremony. No extra fee, my includes this already..
Do you recommend specific wedding professionals? Did you get referral fees? Yes, I have a referral list of highly skilled and capable professionals. I DO NOT receive any type of fees for any referrals or services..
How do you assist in planning a wedding? What services do you provide? I can assist with the entire planning stage. I can be brought in at any point of the planning process and can do as much or little as needed. I can help plan your wedding and/or any event that requires planning. I also offer "A La Carte.".
