Questions & Answers

• How many months in advance do I need to reserve your services for my wedding date? The sooner, the better. We tend to book up about 6 months in advance, but give a call, and we will see. There are several of us so we are pretty flexible..

• Can your DJ MC our event? Can you provide a microphone? Yes, our services include MC services, and we do have mics available (wireless) if someone else needs to do a blessing, toast, etc..

• What are your standard payment terms? Cash is preferred, however we will also take cashier's checks or money orders. We do not accept credit cards..

• We want to meet and talk to the DJ that will be at our wedding reception, is that a problem? No, we always like to do this. .

• How early do you typically arrive before an event? At least 1 hour before the time to start, sometimes a little more. We will research the layout of the venue and get there in time to set up for it..

• How many weddings do you perform each year? We perform about 30-40 weddings a year. Typically every weekend..

• Do you bring backup equipment to the event? Do you have backup djs in case of sickness? Yes, and yes. We carry 2 of everything in our van, and in some cases 3 or 4. We also have a staff of DJ's and keep their schedules open to accomodate any problems. We want the event to be worry free for you..

• Can guests make song requests? How many (and what types) of CDs will the DJ bring to the event? Absolutely...we encourage it. It's YOUR party and we love requests..we would much rather play what people want than guess. If you want we will even put Request Lists out for them to fill out and bring to us....Sometimes people are more likely to write it down than walk over and talk to us. We do have CDs on hand however most of our music is Digital (computer) format. We have arounf 75K songs on hand of ALL styles from ALL eras. We also have the clean/edited versions of all the Top 40 hits..

• Do we need to provide a meal for the DJ during the event? No this is not necessary. Often times people do and we don't get a chance to eat. Most times we are too busy or into what we are doing to stop. We don't come expecting to eat. .

• What happens prior to the wedding? When do you need our song list? I like to meet with the bride and groom personally and "walk through" a wedding plan. I like to do this at least 30 days before the wedding..

• Do you disc jockeys take any breaks or pauses from playing music? No, unless you asked them to. In most cases the DJs will have an assitant with them so he / she can take a 5-10 minute break...but the music / party would NOT stop..

• What standard attire will the DJ wear to my function? May I request that the DJ wear a tuxedo? Our standard attire is whatever you want....Yes we normally wear tuxes to weddings and normally are professionally dressed at all events. .
