  • Biography My name is Chad VanCleve and I am a husband, father and professional entertainer. I own and operate Virtual DJ Entertainment. I have 2 full DJ sound systems and a great selection of lighting effects. I'm available for any mobile or club event. I work as a DJ and MC for weddings, corporate & private parties and everything in between! I have been DJing for more than 10 years and have gigged well over 100 shows over the years. I was the guest DJ at Club Neo in Fayetteville, N.C. in the mid-1990's and have done nomerous mobile gigs for corporations such as the United States Air Force, United States Army, YMCA and ServiceMaster. I have worked in venues that hold thousands to venues that hold only 50 people and outdoord gigs! I also produce, arrange and compose my own music for fun and I am currently working on releasing the MOBILE SUPERIORITY LP in the near future. I come from a VERY musical background to include my father, whom is the single greatest man I have ever known; who is an accomplished Country & Western song writer with published credits to his name - to my middle brother, who is an accomplished musician - playing the guitar and drums like it is second nature - to my youngest brother, who is a Club DJ in Bowling Green, Ohio. My wife, too; is an accomplished dancer and choreographer who has danced for the President of The United States at the Lincoln Center in Washington D. C., to the halftime shows at the Fiesta Bowl and the Cincinatti Bengals, the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and the Grand Ole' Opry !!! I was the sound/stage manager at her shows (which got me great seats)!!! I'm familiar with the latest in DJ technology and theatrical lighting and ensure I use and provide only the best for my clients. I have a great public speaking voice and have no difficulty in speaking in front of a crowd. I have the ability to adapt instantly to any situation and keep to a strict program of events on schedule. Now, the question I always get is this..."why do you call it Virtual DJ Entertainment"? the asnwer is twofold. First, the traditional DJ uses two record turntables (or a dual CD player), a mixer, many records (or CD's), I do not. I use an all-digital library on an external harddrive, two laptops (1 is a backup), two dual digital MIDI mixers (1 is a backup)...THE "VIRTUAL"-age of DJing !!! I still carry CD's, a professional dual CD player and anolog mixer but that is just a backup system to my first backup and/or a way to play client-provided CD's on-the-spot. Second, I thought it sounded cool !!! I use lasers, haze/fog, halogen and LED lighting effects at all shows for NO additioanl charge unless zoning, code or the clients requests otherwise. This creates the atmosphere needed for an unforgettable event. Now, not all of the DJ's out there can provide you with the same thing I can an even fewer can do it at the prices I charge (( I make a pretty good living and don't need to charge a arm and a leg) and I have yet to find anybody cheaper providing the same level of service) but there are a number of DJ's in the Greater Dayton area that are fabulous and have my respect, recommendation and endorsement. Obviously, I want you to hire me but you may have different ideas or I may already be booked.
